Short Bio

Welcome to my personal webpage! I’m a researcher at the Department of Economics at INRAE, within the resarch unit UMR SMART (located in Rennes, France).

My research focuses on the competitiveness of agrifood firms and food retailers and its consequences for consumers. This topic has led me to assess the impact of key laws in the French food distribution sector (e.g., LME, Raffarin law, mergers and acquisitions) and their effects on retail prices. I have also conducted numerous studies in international trade to evaluate the determinants of competitiveness for agrifood firms both in export markets and in the domestic market (e.g., the role of labor cost, firm’s productivity, product quality, make or buy strategies). To address these questions, I primarily use databases containing large amounts of information on consumption, production, and trade at a very detailed level.
